Last year, Nintendo Partnered with the Seattle Aquarium to host the Animal Crossing: New Horizons X Seattle Aquarium Partnership. It was an in-person event where attendees could participate in a number of different activities reflective of Animal Crossing’s longtime celebration of wildlife. Apparently the event went over (ahem) swimmingly (a pun!) and now Nintendo is bringing the fun to people all over the United States. The Animal Crossing Aquarium Tour begins June 14, 2024 and ends February 28, 2025. Here’s a list of the aquariums that will be participating:

Attendees will be able to participate in the following events and activities, according to the Nintendo press release:

  • Animal Crossing: New Horizons photo opportunity, featuring an aquarium themed background with characters from the game.
  • Themed signage throughout the aquarium will feature creature descriptions presented by Blathers with information directly from the game.
  • Standees of familiar characters from the game throughout the aquarium near a wide variety of habitats.
  • My Nintendo kiosks where guests can check in to receive 100 My Nintendo Platinum Points* redeemable on my.nintendo.com for exclusive digital and physical rewards.
  • Plus, guests may even have the opportunity to meet-and-greet Isabelle, Tom Nook, or K.K. Slider from the Animal Crossing: New Horizons game on select days and stops!

Pretty cool! The way Nintendo describes it, attendance of the Animal Crossing Aquarium Tour comes at no additional charge; simply buy your ticket to whichever hosting aquarium and you’ll be able to check it out. Are you going to be diving (another pun!) into this one? Tell us online and below!
