Well, that was a blast from the past. Developer Aspyr has revealed that it’s working hard on a remaster of the Nintendo GameCube-era game Star Wars: Bounty Hunter. This iteration of the game will boast improved visuals including better lighting and textures, as well as a new flashlight tool that can be used in dark areas. For those uninitiated in this old school third-person adventure game, it follows the exploits of bounty hunter Jengo Fett before the events of Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones. Jengo is on a mission to capture a Dark Jedi and utilizes his jet pack, laser pistols, flamethrower, and more to get the job done. Here’s a little more about Star Wars: Bounty Hunter from Aspyr:

Those that make their way through the campaign will unlock a Boba Fett skin, which sounds like a pretty enticing way to replay the game. Star Wars: Bounty Hunter launches on Nintendo Switch starting August 1, 2024.
