The official Sonic the Hedgehog X account has announced a new animated short “Sonic X Shadow Generations: Dark Beginnings.”
The post includes new artwork of Shadow the Hedgehog and information regarding the short’s scheduled reveal during the upcoming Anime Expo panel on July 6 this summer. The panel will be featuring special guests Takashi Iizuka, Kirk Thornton, and Stephanie Sheh who will be answering questions fans may have.

Sonic X Shadow Generations is set to release later this year and with the announcement of this short, fan hype is rising at a supersonic pace.
